New

Impression Inventory Report

  • The new Impression Inventory Report shows you non-Google Ad Manager impression inventory data. The report finds available and sold information based on the inventory set for each product searched. The data can be viewed in either a pivot or table format.

  • There are various search filters to help you narrow down your results, including Brand, Publication, Product, Position/Channel, and Date Range.

  • Any overbooked items will be highlighted in red, in both the table and pivot views.

  • The sold amounts can be clicked on to open the Digital Media Snapshot report and view additional details.

  • You need the User Permission 'Impression Inventory Report' to access this report.

Auto Create Companies through Ecommerce Storefront

There's a new system configuration called 'Enable Storefront Company Creation', which when turned on, makes it so your contacts must enter company information when registering through your Ecommerce Storefront. By default, the configuration is turned off, meaning they do not need to enter company information. When enabled, they will also have the option to add additional contacts and register them for client center accounts.

Project Request Summary and Detail Reports

There are two new reports available this release, that are specifically if you have the Vendor Job Request module enabled (most of our customers will not have this module). The two reports are Project Request Summary Report, and Project Request Details Report, and they show information to help track how many requests are being made, and how many are assigned, as well as tracking financial information tied to the requests.

  • The Summary version shows active line items tied to project request services, grouped by company.

  • The Detail version shows results based on individual line items tied to project request services, and allows you to quickly navigate to projects, orders, and vendor contacts within the site.

Impression and Targeted Display Inventory Widgets

Two new widgets are available this release! The Impression Inventory Widget and Targeted Display Inventory Widget are both available and ready to use. Both widgets reflect the information in their respective inventory reports, just brought directly to your dashboard. Both widgets have table and pivot views, depending on how you want the information displayed.

  • You can click on the values in the Sold columns to navigate to the Digital Media Snapshot report and get additional information.

  • If your team has the 'Enable User Widget Permissions' configuration enabled, you will need permissions to access each of these widgets, that can be found under the Widget section of your User Permissions.

Manually Set Taxable Basis

There is a new system configuration this release called 'Set Tax Basis on Line Item'. Setting this configuration to Yes allows users to manually define the taxable basis of service product line items. When adding or editing a service line item, users will see an additional field called ‘Tax Basis’, which allows you to choose how much of the item is taxable. For instance, if you have a service worth $100 but only half of that should be taxed, you would enter $50 in the Tax Basis field. The taxes for the item would then be calculated based on the Tax Options/Tax rate as well as the Tax Basis. Using the same example of a $100 item, if your tax rate for the item was 6%, the taxes on the item would normally be $6. But if you set the Tax Basis for the item to $50, the taxes for the item would be $3.

  • An exception to this is if the item is tax exempt at the product level. In this case, you would not be able to set a Tax Basis for the item.

  • When this configuration is enabled, you will also be able to edit the tax basis for service items when creating the invoice for the item. This field can be seen on step 2 of creating an invoice.

  • An important note, is that this configuration does not work in combination with the Avalara integration. You may only use one or the other.

Improvements

We now support Inventory Grouping for Impression and Targeted Display digital media products, in addition to Reserved products.

  • The setup of these inventory groups works the same as Reserved products, but the grouping affects the products a bit differently. When an Impression or Targeted Display product is in a group, editing the inventory on that product will affect the available inventory on every product in the group.

  • Additionally, when adding line items to an order for products in a group, the inventory, available, and sold amounts will be reflective of the group as a whole, not the individual product.

A handful of improvements were made to Digital Media Rate Cards this release.

  • Rate cards can now be added or edited to digital media products from the add/edit digital media product pages.

  • An 'Alias' field has been added to all digital media products. This field can be added as a display field on all digital media product search pages.

  • A Products column has been added to the Rate Card setup page, so you can quickly see which digital media products are included on your rate cards.

  • If a digital media product has been disabled, that will now be indicated when editing your rate card, by showing the word '(disabled)' after the product name.

  • We are including additional product details in the Rates Export. Some of the additional fields include ad specs, finance info, and network.

  • If your system configuration is set to require channel on a particular product type, you will no longer see the 'No Channel' option for that product type on the Rates setup.

Multiple updates were made to the AdCellerant integration this release.

  • If the CPM on an impression item was reduced in AdCellerant, that discount will now be brought into MagHub.

  • On orders and proposals tied to AdCellerant proposals, there is a new link to view the AdCellerant proposal.

  • The 'From AdCellerant' note on line items is now in the Placement Notes field so it is internal, rather than the Ad Notes field.

Various small improvements were made to the Map Your Show integration this release, mostly for ease of use.

  • The whole similarity selector is now selectable, rather than just a portion of it.

  • A handful of fields were re-labeled to more accurately show what it is used for.

  • The notification message when items come into the lockbox is now more detailed and includes what was added to the lockbox.

  • Archived products can no longer be modified.

  • A few associated API errors were resolved.

Other Improvements

  • There is a new action available on the Consolidated Production Report. You can now click on the 'Additional Attributes' action to edit the ticket attributes for the item directly from the report.

  • Users can now record time for a project task directly from the task itself. To do this, on the Tasks tab of a project, click on the ellipsis icon, and click the 'Record Hours for Today' action.

  • The Monthly Per Issue Stats widget now links to the Consolidated Sales Report, rather than the Consolidated Ad Sales Report, which is deprecated.

  • The display on the Add/Edit Publication page has been updated to be consistent with our site's styling.

  • Three API endpoints have been added this release. One to get Targeted Display products, one to get Targeted Display inventory, and one to approve orders. The API documentation has also been updated to reflect the new universal accept header.

  • A Section search field has been added to the Consolidated Sales report. The report also has a new 'Line Item Invoice Amount' display field, which is only available if your 'Allow Line Item Invoice Amounts' system configuration is turned on.

  • The 'Require Channel on Impression and Targeted Display Items' system configuration has been split into two individual configurations, one for Impressions, and one for Targeted Display.

  • A few updates were made for Metabase and the DataWarehouse this release. Contact IIDs (representing billing contact, digital artwork contact, etc.) were added to the Orders Fact table, and the primary contact name was added to the Analytics Sales table.

  • On Slot product edit pages, the Schedule Details section will now be sorted oldest to newest in both the active, and expired sections.

Fixes

  • The timer found on support and service tickets is now working properly.

  • An error on tearsheet previews has been fixed.

  • When using the 'Switch User' feature, if you added a space in between the first and last name, the results would disappear. This bug has been resolved.

  • We allow users to create custom gender options on the Settings > Contacts > Genders page. However, previously only the system defaults were showing up when adding or editing a contact. This has been fixed so all gender options created in your site are available.

  • When recording a payment, it was possible to click the 'Record Payment' button multiple times. This bug has been fixed to prevent duplicate payments from occurring.

  • The Timesheet Report is now grouping results by project correctly.

  • When editing a slot item on a publisher approved order, users were getting incorrect 'slot oversold' messages, which has been fixed.

  • Installment Schedules are now being properly validated on finance order approval.

  • There was a bug where users were unable to revert a Sales Goal back to 0. This has been fixed, so if a goal is set to 0 it will save properly.

  • When the system configuration is enabled to require timesheet notes, when a user goes to record time for a task, the system will auto-focus on the hours field in the popup. This means less clicks for you!

  • When a contact registers for the Client Center, they will no longer be brought to a 'Page Not Found' after logging in for the first time.

  • There was a bug on the Reserved Product Scheduler where you would get an oversold notification when it's not necessary. The issue has been resolved.

  • On ticket search pages, if you enter a Company name, the Contact list will now be restricted to only contacts associated with the chosen company.

  • Users were unable to record a payment when the company's default payment method was 'Other'. This has been fixed.

  • The Ad Specs field is now being truncated consistently on the Digital Media product search pages.

  • There was an error when recording timesheet hours in the Vendor Center which has been fixed.

  • Special Invoices were being set to credit memos for their 'type', which has been resolved.

  • On the Add Payments page, recording a payment using a credit memo now works properly.

  • The Sales Approver stage of order approvals is now loading correctly.

  • You can now change a digital media product from tax exempt back to non-tax exempt and the item will save properly.

  • The User Permission 'Allow System Inventory Overbooking' was previously only available if a site had Print Ad sales enabled. This release we updated the permission so it is available if Digital Media sales are enabled, not just Print Ad sales.

  • When bulk adding ad sizes to digital media products, the table will now get updated immediately.

  • An error with the Map Your Show integration has been fixed.

  • The Billing Report is now properly exporting the billing contact's 'Address 2' field.

  • Users now have an option of whether or not items without tickets will display on their Consolidated Production report. When including proposals or deleted items, items without tickets will always be included. But now you can choose to 'Include items without Tickets' if you are searching for pending orders, for instance.

  • The Ad Size column on the order display is now applying to all digital media product types, not just Slots.

  • Deleted proposals will no longer be included in the Consolidated Production report, unless you have both the 'include proposals' and 'include deleted' boxes selected.

  • Channels, placements, and sizes are now loading properly on Targeted Display products when you have more than 200 options.

  • When creating a line item, the 'Additional Details' section will only load if attributes exist for the selected product.
