Fall is here! Leaves falling, brisk temperatures, and Pumpkin Spiced everything! That means the MagHub Fall Forum has passed, and football has started. On behalf of all Michigan Football fans, I am sorry for our unpatriotic victory. Regardless, we’d like to thank everyone who attended the Forum this year. We got some great feedback! We will be implementing some of the feedback gathered (pending order notifications) in this release and are planning to address other hot topics in upcoming releases. Events anyone?
Create a tax table for subscriptions and products
Keep the tax man happy and paid! Create tax rates by state and product. Your customers will pay taxes based on their shipping address and products selected. Changes have been made to the webforms, add subscription page, storefront, subscriber center, and cart orders page. Your ad and service sales will work as they do currently.
New proposal entry process and features
Brag about your business and make money in the process! Add some colorful commentary to your orders, create a proposal, and use our template editor to add more information about your products and company, to prospects and customers. You can also get alerts when a customer is actively reviewing the proposal, set deadlines, and view pending proposal items in reports.
Vendors, AP Invoices, and AP Payments exports
We have added export file formats for our payable’s module. We will export any new or edited vendor, when a vendor’s invoices are marked to be paid, and any payment recorded to the invoice.
Export Vendors and Bills to QBO
Vendors and bills will go directly to your QuickBooks Online account. The system will create and update vendor records when you make changes in MagHub. Any approved AP invoice will export to QBO as a new bill. And when a payment is recorded to a bill, we will pass over the AP payment. Use QuickBooks Desktop? No problem! You can use the QuickBooks file format and map it to QB Desktop using a tool like Transaction Pro. The column headers match up to QuickBook fields for easy mapping and importing.
Additional notifications and order approvals
Keep on your prospects by sending an automatic reminder of a pending order. The system will send an email (New Template!) to your customer X days after you sent a pending order. Once they sign, you add an additional level of approval by assigning someone to review a salesperson’s order.
Ability to set a renewal price on subscription plans
Keep yourself, or your project team on task with Slack notifications. You can set a channel notification for every project and choose to send it out daily or on a specific day of the week. Get individual reminders of your incomplete tasks by adding your Slack ID to ‘My Preferences’ in MagHub. No worries if you don’t have Slack, you can choose to get email reminders, or just check out the in-app MagHub notifications (Bell Icon in MagHub) in the morning.
Other Improvements You May Notice in 8.2:
– No longer require ad size or services when creating a forecast
– Added quick actions to the create invoices pages
– Create a Terms and Conditions element for proposals
– Display order attributes on the Billing > Invoice page
– Updated Ecommerce and tax reports to show new tax products
– You can update a single line item on a paid invoice
