Whether you are a newly minted ad manager or a veteran in the field, if you are looking to add to your skills and improve your performance, there is no shortage of continuing education courses out there to help you do that. What’s more, many of them are free. Here are a few samples of free Google ad manager training and HubSpot training courses.

Getting Certified

There are a number of short courses lasting just several hours that enable you to become Google certified in many different areas of online advertising.

For example, you can become certified in Google ads search, which gives you the skills to master Google ad search campaigns. You can become certified in Google ads display, which gives you the skills to put together display advertising to meet particular marketing objectives. Another certification is in Google ads measurement, which enables you to measure and optimize Google ads campaign performance.

You can become certified in Google video ads, learning skills in how to use YouTube and Google video for advertising. There is also shopping ad certification that enables you to link products and shoppers together.

And you can also earn a certification in the creative area, gaining the ability to put together compelling video and display ads.

Using Your Knowledge

If you want to go further, there is another series of courses that help you to apply your knowledge in setting up and managing Google ad campaigns. These courses cover such topics as creating Google search campaigns, creating and optimizing Google display ad campaigns, creating video ad campaigns, the basics of shopping ads, and optimizing search ad campaigns.

Going More In-Depth

Google has also put together a number of training sessions that are geared toward users with particular needs. These sessions cover topics like reaching marketing objectives, using optimization score recommendations to improve campaign performance, and learning how to build campaigns across different Google platforms.

In addition, Google offers online training sessions led by product experts to help marketers learn strategies to reach their objectives. Google also offers a tutorial series, short videos on how to put together and optimize Google ad features that are also geared toward marketing objectives or the type of campaign you are running.

Google Ad Manager Course

This training helps you to become proficient in the fundamental aspects of Google ad manager and helps you to manage your inventory as well. The course explains how to get started, how to produce inventory, how to create ad campaigns and how to manage your ads with Google ad manager.

After going through this training, you will be able to —

  2. Set up inventory, add campaigns, and ads in ad manager

HubSpot Academy

HubSpot also offers an array of learning opportunities through its HubSpot Academy, everything from short, practical courses to more extensive certifications.

There is a course in digital advertising for people who want to improve their skills in this area. This course teaches users how to advertise at all different stages of the buying lifecycle, how to create digital advertising campaigns and how to evaluate the performance of your advertising strategy.
