Monthly Commission Kickers

There is a new monthly option for Attainment Kickers for commissions. When creating an Attainment Kicker, you will now need to choose between yearly and monthly. If a monthly kicker is used, you will also need to select which months of the year the kicker will be eligible in. Different from yearly kickers, the rep(s) will receive the kicker for any months specified as long as they meet the threshold within that month.

  • If using a monthly kicker, you can also select specific users that can receive the kicker. When set, only those users can receive the kicker even if other users achieve the threshold.

  • There is also a new option to enter the kicker amount as a percentage, on either yearly or monthly kickers. The Kicker % field will give the rep different amounts depending on their commissionable sales in the period. For example, if the commissionable sales were $15,000 in the period, and the Kicker % was set to 4%, then the kicker would be $600, or 4% of $15,000.

  • To account for the new monthly kickers option, on the Sales Rep Attainment report, if there are monthly kickers set, you will see a new 'Show Monthly Details' action, which will display the monthly kicker data.

Brand Based Sales Goals

A new Brand based sales goals model has been created this month. To enable this, you simply need to change the Sales Goal Model system configuration to the new 'Brand' option. When set, users sales goals will be set up by brand, following the same process as the other sales goals models, where goals are specified per month and user. Sales will count toward the brand buckets based on the publication-brand association, meaning if there are line items sold that are not associated with a publication, they will not count toward any of the brand goals.

Brand Filtering on Reports

Many of our reports were updated in this release to include a new 'Brand' search filter, and some of these reports also had a new 'Brand' display field added. Below are the updated reports:

Package Discounting

Discounting is now available on Sales Packages. When creating or managing your packages, there is a new Discount Configuration section, where you can determine if there should be discounts applied to the package, and how they should be applied. Then, when adding the package to an order, those discount settings will be applied to the package line items.

Event Offers

Event line items can now be used on Sales Offers. When creating an Offer, you can now select the Event product type, and select from Event Tickets and Booths. These Offers will work the same as Offers of other product types, where clients can claim the Offer through the Client Center, and inventory checks will be taken into account.

Use Slots with Broadstreet

In this month's release, we added the ability to use our Slot digital media products with the Broadstreet integration. The setup and use of Broadstreet Slots is the same as our other digital media product types. On the Slot product add/edit page, you'll need to set the Ad Network to Broadstreet. Then, when added to an order, the line item will push to Broadstreet as a campaign.

Additional Improvements

  • The ClearBit integration has been updated.

  • Artwork Contact names, IDs, and e-mail addresses have been added to the Analytics Sales table in Metabase and the Data Warehouse.

  • Ticket Group ID has been added to the Ad Tickets Fact, Service Tickets Fact, and Analytics Tickets tables in Metabase and the Data Warehouse.

  • Phone number 'types' are now included on the Contact Search page and export.

  • In the Send Email popup, you can now search by e-mail address in addition to contact name.

  • The Company Financial Overview report can now be filtered by Publication Publisher, Publication, and Event.

  • Ad Specs are now working consistently on Reserved digital media products.

  • An internal 'Description' field has been added to Ad Sizes.

  • Line Item ID has been added as an Order Display field option.

  • The display for inactive reps has been updated on company overview pages to indicate the rep is inactive.

  • Contract goals are now showing in the Dim Contract Goals table in Metabase and the Data Warehouse.

  • Brands are now shown on the Company Overview page.

  • When using the global search to find ticket assets, you can now search by Asset ID in addition to name and description.

  • The Metabase version has been updated.

  • Two new User Permissions have been added: 'Edit Company Dynamic Attributes' and 'Edit Company Brands'. Each of these allow for more granularity in the company fields that users are able to edit.

  • Event names will no longer be shown on the Product Categories page.

  • On the Status Definitions page for ticket statuses, when editing the status permissions, you can now assign users in bulk to the status by using the new 'Add by Role' option.

Fixes

  • The error message when creating an installment schedule with invalid dates has been updated.

  • Package template elements have been updated for consistency.

  • An error when populating company logos has been fixed.

  • Event dates can now be set on quick add service tickets.

  • The Sender for Proof Email system configuration is now working properly when set to the 'Order Rep' option.

  • If an order is finance rejected, a copy of the client-signed order PDF is now retained in the order history.

  • Proof request reminder emails will no longer send multiple times for the same asset, if that asset has been approved.

  • On the Annual Sales by Month report, you can now see event line items that are not associated with a publication.

  • The table headers on the Issue Comparison Report have been updated.

  • The first line item on an order can now be edited if paid with a credit card that included a surcharge.

  • When converting proposals to orders, the Sales Approver step will no longer be bypassed.

  • When reassigning artwork contacts on companies, the confirmation popup will now only show when there are future orders available to be reassigned.

  • The 'Keep Last Status' option when uploading files is now working properly on grouped tickets.

  • The Ad Items element on contract templates will now only show the summary footer when that option is selected on the element.

  • When cloning slot products with Date of the Month frequencies, the cloned frequencies are now being set properly.

  • The 'Expiring Contract' system activity category will no longer create activities for deleted pending orders.

  • When multiple files are uploaded to Editorial Tickets, they will now be grouped in a single line, the same way file uploads work on Ad Tickets.

  • A bug causing incorrect discounts on Slot line items added to orders through Packages has been resolved.

  • Activities can now be created for companies from the Actions dropdown on company overview pages without the 'Edit Company Details' user permission.

  • Exports are now working properly on the Digital Media product search pages.

  • An error when pushing call activity to the Data Warehouse has been fixed.

  • The position/channel filter will no longer have to be selected when adding Slot line items to orders when all of the override channel pricing is set to $0.

  • Targeted Display or Impression products set to display together on templates are now showing properly on master invoices.

  • An error when uploading files through the Client Center has been fixed.

  • Expired proposals are now visible on the Proposal search page when there is only one available pipeline.

  • Targeted Display or Impression products set to display together on templates are now showing properly on contracts when there are multiple overlapping series on the order.

  • The 'active' parameter on the GET contacts API endpoint is now working correctly.

  • 'Type' and 'contact type' filters have been added to the results in the GET contacts API endpoint.

  • An error on the queued emails table has been fixed.

  • A loading issue on orders with many line items has been fixed.
