Shipping Costs in Storefront
To set up shipping methods, zones, and rates in the system to appear in your store front, follow the steps outlined below:
Navigate to Settings > Ecommerce > Shipping Setup.
On the Shipping Methods tab, click +Add Shipping Method.
On the Add Shipping Method popup, enter in a name for the shipping method you wish to create and select the service levels you wish to offer from the dropdown menu i.e. Shipping Method: Two Day Shipping, Service Levels: USPS:2ndDayAir.
On the Shipping Zones & Rates tab on the Shipping Setup page, click +Add Shipping Zone. On the Add Shipping Zone popup, enter in a name for the shipping zone you wish to create and select the Country, State/Province/Region, and Shipping Methods you wish to offer for this zone i.e. Shipping Zone: Midwest. Once the relevant fields are filled in, click Save.
To edit the rates, click the ellipsis next to the zone name and select Edit Rates. The shipping method rate is calculated based upon a percentage of the order subtotal. Enter in the rate percentage you wish to charge along with a handling fee if desired and click Save.
These shipping methods, zones, and rates will now be active in your store front.
