Data Imports and Exports
Data importing and exporting within Ad Orbit allows users to manage various types of data efficiently.
Users can import companies, contacts, ad sizes, historical orders, and more. It's important to use the spreadsheets provided by Ad Orbit for the import process, ensuring all required fields are filled out correctly. To perform imports, navigate to Settings > Data Import / Export > Import Data, select the appropriate importer from the dropdown menu, and download the necessary CSV template. Once the template is populated with the correct data, it can be uploaded back into the system.
Imports are most typically done when moving into Ad Orbit from a previous platform.
Exporting data is also facilitated through the platform, allowing users to generate exports and view export history. This feature helps in managing data effectively for reporting and analysis, as well as push data to external platforms such as QBO.
