Package Summary
The report shows you a summary of package sales and performance. You can also compare performance from different years, as well as view average discounts and link to more details.
To access this report, you need the User Permission 'Package Summary Report'. To get the most out of the report, we also recommend having the 'Snapshot & Consolidated Reports' User Permission.
You can use the search options on this report to narrow down your results by fields such as Package Name, Publisher, Issue, and Product Category.
Compare Year: Typically, the report will only show results for the year selected. If you wish to compare the results to a different year, then select an option in this dropdown. When used, you will see additional columns of data for each month. One additional column will be for the year you selected to compare, and one column will be the delta, or difference, between the years.
The body of the report is in table format, with each package that meets the search criteria as a row, and each month of the year as a column.
For each package, there is a row for booked sales, and a row for pending sales associated with the package.
Click the links for the booked or pending sales to link to the Consolidated Sales Report to view additional details about the sale items.
At the end of each row, there are some additional total columns.
The Total column reflects the total value of pending or booked sales for that package for the year.
Whereas the Total column reflects the dollar value of the package for the year, the Sold Count column adds up how many times the package was sold over the course of the year.
The Average Discount column calculates the average percentage that the package was discounted over the year across both pending and booked sales.
If you added a comparison year to the search criteria, there are additional columns of information.
Under each month, there will be a column for both of the years selected.
There will also be a column with a triangle icon, which reflects the delta, or difference, between the two years.
If the current year's sales are equal to or greater than the compared-to year's sales, the delta value will be shown in green text.
If the current year's sales are less than the compared-to year's sales, the delta value will be shown as a negative value with red text.
