Cash/Credits Report
Use this report to view cash/credit amounts by company. To use this report, navigate to Reports > All Reports – Finance, or use the global search bar. If this is a report that you plan to use frequently, mark it as a favorite and add it to your Quick Links.
To access this report, you need the User Permission 'Cash/Credit Report'.
Simply click ‘Get Report’ to find all results, or you can narrow them down by Company name, Publication Market, or Payment Date range.
By default, the results will be shown in a summary format.
Sorted by company name, each row will show Cash Account values and Open Credit Memos for each company. You can click on the $ icon, which will redirect you to the Add Payments page showing a list of all open invoices for that company. On this page, you can apply payments from the cash account or credit memos. You can also click on the company name from the table which will take you to the Company Overview page.
If you choose the ‘View Details’ search option, additional information will display for each company. You will still see the same information as the summary and be able to perform the same actions, but there will also be additional information included.
Underneath each company name will be listed all their credit memo or cash account transactions. For each line, you will see the payment type, payment date, relevant notes, and the totals of each transaction.
When choosing to view the report by the detail view, transactions that balance out to $0 will always be included.
Note
By default, the summary view does not include $0 balances, but you can choose to include them in the report results by checking the ‘Show 0 Balances’ search option.
