Special Invoice Report
Utilize this report to view your special invoices, including those generated for automatically charged late fees. You can also view a list of credit memos. To use this report, navigate to Reports > All Reports – Finance, or use the global search bar. If this is a report that you plan to use frequently, mark it as a favorite and add it to your Quick Links.
To access the report, you need the User Permission ‘Special Invoice’.
The basic search allows you to select invoice ‘from’ and ‘to’ dates, choose whether you want to see results for Special Invoices or Credit Memos, and filter by Publication. The advanced search options add filters for Publication Market and Company.
There’s also an option to Group by Company. If you check this option, rather than seeing an individual record for each special invoice or credit memo that fits your search criteria, you would only see one record for each company, and the Amount field would reflect the total for that company.
The selections will return an interactive table by Company, Description, Memo, Post Date and Amount. Each company name is a quick link that will bring you to the company’s overview page where you can see additional information.
The ‘Applied to Invoice’ column is typically only applicable if you are filtering by the Credit Memo type. It will show which invoice(s) the credit memo was applied to as a payment.
When the results are Grouped by Company, rather than seeing an individual record for each special invoice or credit memo that fits your search criteria, you would only see one record for each company, and the Amount field would reflect the total for that company.
