Company Asset Attributes
Our system’s Dynamic Attributes are helpful when it comes to adding information to records that we don’t already capture within the site. For example, you could add a field for contact birthdays. Birthday is not a field that we capture, but could be helpful for developing relationships with your customers. If you wish to capture more complicated information, however, Company Assets are one step above our dynamic attributes. Assets are more complex than dynamic attributes but do allow for more flexibility and advanced searching.

In this document, we will specifically walk through how to set up a dynamic attribute to pull in Company Asset values.
Once your Company Assets are created, go to Settings > System Design & Info > Dynamic Attributes to create an attribute that uses Company Assets. To access this page, you need the User Permission 'Dynamic Attributes'.
Next, create a dynamic attribute. For the Field Type, you must select an option that allows you to enter Restricted Values. This means the Field Types you can choose from are Multi-Drop Down List, Drop Down List, and Radio Buttons.
In the Restricted Values field, you need to enter the following text: *?[Company_Asset_ASSET TYPE NAME].
Replace where the text says ASSET TYPE NAME with the actual name of your asset. For example, if you have a Company Asset named 'Brands', then the Restricted Value would read: *?[Company_Asset_Brands]

Once this attribute is created, it can show up throughout Ad Orbit. The Restricted Values will automatically show the asset values without you needing to constantly update the dynamic attribute whenever changes are made to the asset.
As an example, we will stick with the 'Brands' Company Asset. Let's say you've created a line item dynamic attribute using *?[Company_Asset_Brand] as its restricted value, and on your company Dunder Mifflin, you've set Brand asset values of 'Paper' and 'Pencils'.

When adding a line item for the company Dunder Mifflin, you will see the Brand dynamic attribute you created, along with the values of Paper and Pencils as the choices for the attribute.

If the Brand assets on Dunder Mifflin change, the options in the attribute dropdown will automatically reflect those changes.
