Chrome Quick Add Extension
In Chrome, and Chromium-based browsers, we have a Quick Add extension which allows you to quickly add and search for contacts in Ad Orbit from any webpage. This extension helps Ad Orbit users efficiently capture contact information while browsing the web without having to switch contexts.
To install the extension:
First, download the extension file by going to My Preferences - Google Integration.

Then, go to chrome://extensions/
On the Manage Extensions page, turn on Developer mode
Click 'Load unpacked', and select the extracted folder

The extension will now appear on your Manage Extensions page, as well as in your toolbar

The first time you open the extension, you will need to configure it. Click on the Open Settings button.

This will bring you to the Quick Add Settings page. Here, enter your subdomain and your API keys.
Your subdomain is the name of your Ad Orbit instance. For example, if your Ad Orbit site is 'stage.adorbit.com', your subdomain would be stage.
The API keys come from your User Setup page within Ad Orbit. For more information about these, click here. Copy and paste your keys into these fields.
The Testing Account option only needs to be checked if you are connecting to a QA testing environment.
Once the information is entered, save the settings, and you can begin using the extension. You can also click Test Connection if desired to make sure the extension is connecting to your instance properly.

Once configured, when visiting any website, you can open the extension, which will search your open web page to find available contact information.
If contact information is found on the page, you will see different information depending on if the contact exists in your Ad Orbit account or not.
If the contact already exists in Ad Orbit:
You will receive a 'Contact Found' message, with the contact details pulled from Ad Orbit. You can open the contact's record in Ad Orbit from here, as well as run a new search or choose to create a new contact.

If there are multiple contacts found within Ad Orbit that match the email address, you can scroll through all of the matching contacts and click on each contact to view more details.

If the contact does not exist in Ad Orbit:
If the contact does not already exist in your Ad Orbit site, then you will see a form with available contact fields pre-populated based on the information the extension can find on the web page. For example, fields like First Name or Email may populate automatically.

If you wish to create a new contact in Ad Orbit using this information, fill out the rest of the required fields.
To create a new contact using the extension, you are required to enter First Name, Last Name, and Email. The other fields are optional.
When entering a company name, if there are similar company names within Ad Orbit, they will appear in list format, and you can choose from the existing companies.

Or, you can enter a new company name. This will be created as a new company in Ad Orbit once the form is submitted, and the contact you are creating will be assigned as the company's primary contact.

Once the form is filled out, click Create Contact at the bottom.

You will then see a success message with a link to view your new contact within Ad Orbit.

Any information you entered in the extension form will be brought in on your Ad Orbit contact.

Once installed, the extension can also be used from the right-click menu.
When right-clicking on an email address, you can select the 'Ad Orbit Quick Add' option, and choose from 'Search Ad Orbit' and 'Create Contact in Ad Orbit' actions.
Both actions will open the extension popup, where you can run searches or fill out the form to create a new contact.
