Lock your Proposal Content
Control the content of your proposals by locking sections and elements. Any locked item can’t be disabled or changed when a sales rep creates a new proposal.
You can lock elements or sections when creating/editing proposal templates.
Go the to edit layout page of the proposal and click on the action of either an element or a section. Click Lock Section/Element.
A lock icon will appear on any locked section/element.
Locking a section will prevent a user from editing or disabling any elements in the section. A user can move the section, but can’t edit the content or move elements within the section.
Locking an element will prevent a user from editing or disabling the content when building a proposal. A user will be able to move a locked element within a section.
